'Pay Mick Gatto $50,000 for peace'

Allegations of intimidation and stand over tactics employed by the CFMEU against Melbourne builders have been aired in the Royal Commission into Trade Unions.

The Royal Commission today heard from three Melbourne builders who claim they were intimidated and bullied by John Setka and representatives from the CFMEU.
"If you want industrial peace, you look after the right people," he said. Mr Zaf said after speaking to the media earlier this year he was attacked in the driveway of his own home.

Mr Chiavaroli's father, Peter, said he was told a $50,000 payment to Mick Gatto would secure industrial peace.
