Two arrested after tilt in Bakersfield HA Clubhouse

Bakersfield HA Clubhouse
Two Taft men were arrested following an incident at the Hell's Angels clubhouse in Bakersfield. Bakersfield Police Department said officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the clubhouse on East 19th St.

Details of what happened weren't immediately available, but apparently there was an assault and the weapon was a hammer. Jonathon Cole Smith, 40 of Taft, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy, battery, vandalism, and participation in a street gang. Casey Wootten, 39, also of Taft, was arrested on drug and weapons charges as well as participation in a street gang.

Hammers are THE signature weapon of the HA. They are legal to carry.
